Vivo Y28s phone listed on Geekbench benchmark site, mid-range budget launch soon

Vivo is soon going to add a new model to their Y series, called Vivo Y28s 5G. The upcoming phone was earlier spotted on Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification websites. And now, the Vivo Y28s phone has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmark platform which as usual has also revealed some of its key features. Let's take a look at them.

Vivo Y28s 5G phone spotted on Geekbench benchmarking platform

Vivo Y28S 5G phone with model number V2346 has appeared on Geekbench benchmarking platform. This is the global variant of the phone, as the same device has also been spotted at the GCF certification. The Vivo Y28S scored 599 and 1,707 points in the single-core and multi-core tests of the Geekbench 6.3.0 benchmark test.

According to Geekbench, the Vivo Y28S 5G handset will feature an octa-core processor with a motherboard codenamed k6835v2_64, two performance cores, six efficiency cores and a Mali G57 GPU. This suggests that the Vivo Y28S will run on either a MediaTek Dimension 6,300 or Dimension 6080 processor.

The benchmark listing of the Vivo Y28s 5G phone also revealed that the handset will come with 8GB RAM and Android 14 OS. But hopefully, it will be launched in other memory variants as well. The Vivo Y28s has already received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards, meaning it will make its debut in India as well.

So far, this is all that is known about the upcoming Vivo Y28s 5G. However, it is expected to appear on other certification websites in the coming days before the launch, which may reveal more information about the device.
