Vivo X100s: full battery in minutes! Vivo’s new phone comes with super fast charging speed

Vivo is gearing up to launch several new products in the Chinese market next week, including the Vivo X Fold 3 series of foldables, the Vivo TWS 4 earbuds, and the Vivo Pad 3 Pro tablet. Apart from this, Vivo is also said to be working on a new smartphone under their X100 series. It may enter the market as Vivo X100s. And now China’s 3C certification platform has revealed the phone’s fast charging speed.

Vivo X100s gets 3C certification

A new Vivo smartphone with model number V2359A has been listed on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) platform website. Although the listing does not reveal the name, it is speculated that this phone will probably be the Vivo X100S, a member of the flagship X100 series. According to the 3C database, the device will support 120W fast charging. Besides, nothing more is known about the Vivo X100S from the certification.

Meanwhile, tipsters have been sharing various specifications of the Vivo X100S on digital chat station Weibo (a Chinese micro-blogging site) for several months. It is rumored to come in Black, White, Green and Titanium color options. The phone will have a flat OLED display on the front, offering ultra-slim bezels and 1.5K resolution. The frame of the handset is expected to be flat and made of metal, while the back will have a glass panel.

In terms of processor, the Vivo X100S model may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor built on a 4 nanometer process. The Plus model will likely offer higher clock speeds than the regular Dimensity 9300. Note that the Dimensity 9300 has a prime Cortex-X4 core running at 3 GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores at 2.85 GHz, and four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.0 GHz. And for graphics, Mali-G720 Immortalis MP12 GPU is added.

Note that the flagship Vivo X100S was initially rumored to make its debut in China later this month. However, the company is yet to reveal any confirmed information about the launch of the smartphone, so the chances of the phone launching this month seem unlikely.
