Vivo has officially started promoting the arrival of their first foldable phone in India. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will compete with the existing Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and OnePlus Open folding handsets in the domestic market. Ahead of the official launch event, the brand has created a microsite of the upcoming offering, revealing some of its key details. Apart from this, the launch date of the foldable smartphone has been spotted in the disclaimer section of the microsite. Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is confirmed to be available on Flipkart e-commerce platform.

Scrolling through the disclaimer section of the newly released microsite of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro folding phone, it says 'launch date till June 6, 2024', indicating that the foldable phone will make its debut in the country on June 6. Vivo may also officially reveal the launch date in the coming days.
The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro isn't just the brand's first foldable phone for India. It is the first of its kind in the country as a foldable. It is 11.2mm thin when folded and weighs 236g, making it India's slimmest and lightest foldable phone. The upcoming device will have the largest display with an 8.03-inch internal screen and will hold the title of the brightest display on a foldable phone with a peak brightness level of 4,500 nits. Also, Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is confirmed to be India's first foldable phone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
The microsite also reveals that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will come with a ZEISS-branded triple rear camera, consisting of two sensors and a periscope lens with 10x zoom. It will also come with Zeiss Multifocal Portrait, which allows shooting across different focal lengths. The phone's carbon fiber hinge can withstand 500,000 folds and is rated for 12 years. Vivo has also confirmed that Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will also offer features like AI Note Assist, AI Transcript Assist and AI Screen Translation along with Gemini AI.
