Vivo is reportedly gearing up to launch a new mid-range smartphone called Vivo V40 Lite soon under their popular V series. The phone was recently spotted on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) and GCF certification platform. And now a well-known tipster has revealed some important information about the specifications and design of the Vivo V40 Lite phone. Let's take a look at them.

Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has shared information about the Vivo V40 Lite phone with the publication 91Mobiles. This upcoming Vivo phone has already been spotted in the IMEI database. However, this certification did not disclose any significant details. But this latest report has revealed the complete design of the handset as well as key specifications. It is specifically the global variant of the Vivo V40 Lite, which may be released in the European market.
The leaked images reveal the curved edge design of the Vivo V40 Lite handset with slim bezels and a centered punch hole cutout. The large circular camera island is seen on the back of the phone, which houses the Aura Ring LED flash. The volume rocker and power button are located on the right edge of the phone. Its middle frame is believed to be made of plastic material. The device will be available in at least two color options: White and Maroon.
The tipster claims that the Vivo V40 Lite will sport a tall 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FullHD+ resolution. It will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of in-built storage. For photography, the Vivo V40 Lite handset features a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a 2-megapixel sensor. And a 32 megapixel selfie camera will be seen in front of the phone.
In terms of power backup, the Vivo V40 Lite will have a large 5,500mAh battery, which will support 44W wired fast charging. Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, IP64 water and dust resistance rating, and 8GB virtual RAM support. This device will probably run on Android 14 based FunTouch OS custom skin.
