Vivo V29 on the verge of launch, gets Bluetooth SIG certification

A new smartphone called Vivo V29 will be launched in multiple regional markets very soon. Earlier today (June 7th), the device was spotted appearing in the database of the Bluetooth SIG authority, clearly indicating that the handset in question will make its official debut this month or early July. The Vivo V29’s model number has also been revealed as it was listed on the Bluetooth SIG site today.

The Bluetooth SIG certification listing confirms that the upcoming Vivo V29 5G smartphone will carry the V2250 model number. Notably, the same device was also spotted listing on benchmarking site Geekbench yesterday. Due to which, several key features of this latest 5G smartphone of the Vivo brand have already come to the fore before the launch.

According to Geekbench listing, this upcoming Vivo handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset. It will get up to 8 GB of RAM. And the device will be powered by the latest Android 13 operating system. Other features of the Vivo V29 5G smartphone are yet to be known.

Incidentally, the higher version of the said model i.e. Vivo V29 Pro 5G is also expected to be launched soon. Its model number is V2251. And inadvertently Vivo recently shared the features of this smartphone online. It will reportedly feature a 6.7-inch Full HD Plus OLED display panel with curved edges, which will offer a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to come with a MediaTek Dimension 8200 processor Again, Android 13-based FunTouch OS 13 (FunTouch OS 13) will be pre-loaded as an operating system. It will have up to 12 GB of RAM and a maximum of 256 GB of storage In terms of power backup, there will be a 5,000mAh capacity battery with 66W fast charging support. Besides, the Vivo V29 Pro 5G phone will come with a 50-megapixel selfie camera and an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel main rear camera.

Notably, the Vivo V29 series also includes another device called the Vivo V29 Lite 5G. It has already been launched in the Czech Republic. The handset features a 6.78-inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display with curved edges, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It will have 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. For photography, there is a triple rear camera unit consisting of 64-megapixel primary sensor + 2-megapixel depth lens + 2-megapixel macro shooter. The device has a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Again for security there will be an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Android 13 OS powered smartphone has a 5,000mAh capacity battery with support for 44W charging technology. It is IP54 rated.
