The upcoming Vivo phones with model numbers V2250 and V2251 will be marketed as Vivo V29 5G and Vivo V29 Pro 5G respectively. And the model number of the newly unveiled Vivo V29 Lite 5G is V2244. The Geekbench listing of the Vivo V29 5G revealed that it will be powered by Qualcomm’s chipset, which includes four CPU cores running at 1.80 GHz, four CPU cores clocked at 2.40 clock speed, and an Adreno 642L GPU. Which indicates that Vivo V29 5G will run on Snapdragon 778G Plus processor. The device will come with 8 GB RAM and Android 13 operating system. The Vivo V29 5G scored 1,000 and 2,803 points in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
While the specifications of the Vivo V29 Pro 5G have been confirmed by the company, the company has not yet revealed anything about the Vivo V29 5G. The specifications of the V29 Pro were revealed on the Philippines website (the page has now been taken down). It was mentioned that the device will have a 6.7-inch OLED display that will offer a FullHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will have a 50-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 64-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) on the rear panel.
Besides, the Vivo V29 Pro 5G model is said to come with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support for power backup. Other reports claim that the V29 Pro 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimension 8200 chipset.
