Vivo is bringing the 4G version of the popular 5G phone, cheap, huge battery and high-speed charging

Vivo launched the Vivo Y28 smartphone with 5G connectivity in the Indian market in early January this year. And now, the brand is reportedly working on a 4G variant of the device. Last month, the upcoming phone appeared on the Bluetooth SIG and Indonesia Telecom certification website. And now it has been spotted on the US FCC certification platform with the same model number. Let's find out what information has emerged from this listing.

Vivo Y28 (4G) got FCC certification

On the US Federal Communications Commission website, the Vivo Y28 (4G) phone is listed with the model number V2352. It revealed that the smartphone will come with a massive 6,000 mAh battery unit. However, this is considered Shell's typical value or advertised capacity, as the minimum battery capacity is 5,870 mAh. The battery bears the model number BA45.

Also, the FCC certification revealed that the Vivo Y28 (4G) was tested with a charger with model number V4440L0A0-US. It indicates that the device will support 44W fast charging. Also, the firmware version of the smartphone is said to be PD2365F_EX_A_14.0.5.3.W30, which indicates that the Vivo Y28 (4G) will run on Android 14 operating system. The upcoming device is also said to support WiFi, Bluetooth and LTE.

But apart from these, the rest of the specifications of the Vivo Y28 (4G) phone are still unknown. It sounds like it might be slightly different compared to its 5G variant. Incidentally, the Vivo Y28 (5G) handset features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset and houses a 5,000mAh battery unit with 15W charging support. For photography, the rear panel of the smartphone houses a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth lens. It runs on Android 13 operating system.
