Apple is gearing up to launch its next generation iPhone 15 series later this year. And since there is always a distinct frenzy among tech lovers about the upcoming products of this American company. Therefore, there is a lot of speculation in Techpara about this year’s iPhone lineup. But before the iPhone 15 series comes to the market, there are rumors about the iPhone models of next year i.e. 2024. A new report has hinted at some key upgrades for the Apple iPhone 16 Pro model. Let’s know about them.
The Apple iPhone 16 series may be larger in size than its predecessors
Apple is currently working on its iPhone 15 lineup, which could be launched in September. However, recently Bloomberg journalist Mark Garman shared new information about the display of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models. He said that the high-end Pro models to be launched in 2024 will have 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays respectively.
That is, the iPhone 16 Pro series will offer a taller display than its predecessor models. According to the tipster, Apple is making the move to make the iPhone more competitive with Samsung’s larger-screen premium offerings. Notably, Ross Young, Chief Executive Officer of Display Supply Chain Consultancy (DSCC), also pointed this out recently.
Note that due to the larger size, the upcoming premium iPhones will be able to hold larger batteries. On the other hand, Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station reported that the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will have a 1/1.14-inch primary camera, which could be a Sony IMX903 sensor. If this is true, then the main camera of the iPhone 15 Pro series will probably not see any upgrade at all, the iPhone 16 Pro models will come with improved cameras.
