Oppo is bringing the Oppo A3 Pro smartphone to India soon. However, it will be different from the A3 Pro model that was unveiled in China last April. Its design and specifications have now been revealed through a source.
Oppo is gearing up to launch the Oppo A3 Pro smartphone in the Indian market as its next A series smartphone. But it is expected to be different from the version launched in China last April. Now a tipster has shared a hands-on image of the upcoming Oppo A3 Pro Indian variant that showcases a different design compared to the Chinese model. The specifications of the Indian model may also differ from the Chinese handset. Notably, the Chinese Oppo A3 Pro phone is rumored to be launched in India as the Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G.
Oppo A3 Pro India Variant Design and Launch Timeline (Expected)
Quoting tipster Sudhanshu, 91Mobiles has mentioned in their report that the Indian variant of the Oppo A3 Pro phone will be a different phone from its Chinese counterpart. A live image of the Indian version of the A3 Pro handset has also been leaked. The phone is seen in the leaked hands-on images in a purple color option with a glossy finish. Instead of the circular rear camera module found on the Chinese version of the Oppo A3 Pro phone, the Indian version will come with a silver, rectangular rear camera island, consisting of two camera sensors and an LED flash unit, arranged vertically. The device will come with flat, rounded edges.
However, the tipster has not indicated any launch timeline for the Indian version of the Oppo A3 Pro. But the handset is likely to launch in the country soon, as it was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website.
Oppo A3 Pro India Variant Specifications (Expected)
For example, the specifications of the India version of the Oppo A3 Pro are expected to be different. Although the tipster hasn't revealed any specifications of the Oppo A3 Pro Indian variant, he claims that the phone will be the successor to the Oppo A79 5G model, which was launched in the country last October. Hence the expected handset will likely come with upgraded specifications and features.
The Oppo A79 5G phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging support. It comes with a 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD screen and a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit along with an 8-megapixel front camera. The device runs ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13 with custom skin. At the time of launch, the only 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model of the Oppo A79 5G handset was priced at Tk 19,999.
