Samsung is about to make major changes to the Galaxy S series of 2021 next year. It is heard that in this series, instead of the base and plus verb, only Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 EDGE models can come. However, the company has not yet been informed about the matter. However, today a new report has been reported about the chipset of phones. According to the report, the processor of 2 NM Exains 20 (Exynos 2600) will be used on both devices.
Exainse 20 processor in the Galaxy S26 series to reduce costs
According to South Korean media, Samsung’s cost has increased by 26.2 percent to the Korean on -trillion (Tk 1.5 billion) in the first half of 2021 to buy a chip. Where at the same time of 2021, the cost of 8.25 Korean onon trillion (about Tk 1,220 crore). And so Samsung is planning to use their own Exains processor in addition to Qualcomm processors on their flagship device to pull the rush at cost.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series was Qualcomm Processor
Currently all the models of the Samsung Galaxy S2 series are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 3 Elite Chipset. Even the same chipset has been given in the Galaxy Z Fold 3 Model. However, Qualcomm’s chip maker TSMC recently raised the price of their product. As a result, the price of the upcoming flagship processor of Qualcomm seems to increase. This is why Samsung is trying to use its own Exains chip as an alternative.
It should be noted that Samsung recently signed an agreement to make EV car chip with Elon Musk’s company, Tesla. According to the report, Tesla has also been happy with the effectiveness of the chip built in 2 NM processes. So it can be assumed that the Exains 20 chipset with the same process will give a great performance. Although we believe, in some countries, Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 EDGE will be available with Qualcomm processor.
