Digital chat station Halfil shared a post on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. According to the post, both the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi Pro phones will launch with a customized OmniVision primary rear camera. Besides, each model in the series is also said to offer a 1/1.3-inch size 50-megapixel auxiliary sensor with wide aperture support. All three lenses of the phones are likely to be 50 megapixels.
The tipster also claims that the upcoming Xiaomi 15 series will come with a new multi-layer nano ALD ultra-low-reflection coating. Which – will reduce glare and ghosting as well as improve light emission, image clarity and texture.
Incidentally, according to some earlier reports, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro will debut as the first smartphones powered by Qualcomm's next flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The standard model of the series will likely come with a smaller flat display. The 'Pro' variant may have a curved screen surrounded by uniform bezels. It is also claimed that the Xiaomi 15 series will be more expensive than its predecessor.
Xiaomi 15 appeared on Europe's EEC certification site. According to the listing on this site, the phone will carry the model number 24129PN74G. One thing is certain in this regard that the tech giant is planning to launch its next generation flagship smartphone series in China as well as in other countries.
