Yesterday Apple iPhone 16 Series was launched in the global market including India. But at the same time, Apple is going to stop selling three older iPhone models. The decision was announced during Apple's Glowtime 2024 event. Notably, the new iPhone 16 series prices in India start at Rs 79,900 and for the first time in the history of iPhones, the Apple Intelligence (AI) feature will be available in all four models of this series.
The sale of iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 13 models has stopped after the launch of iPhone 16.
Apple has decided to stop selling the older iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 13 right after the launch of the iPhone 16 series. These three models will no longer be sold from the company's official stores, but will be available on e-commerce websites and retail stores while stocks last.
It should be noted that last year also, Apple stopped the sale of iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Plus after the launch of iPhone 15 series.

Similarly, with the launch of iPhone 14, the iPhone 13 Pro and Mini models were discontinued and only the base model was available for purchase on the official site.
The new iPhone 16 series consists of four models – iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The base model starts at Rs 79,900 and the top model, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, is priced up to Rs 1,84,900.
The new series adds significant camera upgrades as well as AI features. Again, all models of the iPhone 16 series have been given a dedicated capture button and the design of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus has been updated.

Meanwhile, after the launch of the new iPhone 16 series, Apple has reduced the prices of some of their older models. iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 models have been slashed by up to Rs 10,000. iPhone 15 is currently selling for Rs 69,900. Again, the price of iPhone 15 Plus has been reduced by Rs 10,000 to Rs 79,900.

Also, the iPhone 14 model is available for purchase at Rs 59,900, Rs 10,000 cheaper. Similarly, the price of iPhone 14 Plus has dropped by Rs 10,000 and is currently available at Rs 69,900.
