Redmi and Realme recently launched two new high-performance smartphones in China. The Redmi Turbo 3 comes with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, while Realme has launched its much-awaited Realme GT Neo 6 phone with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. Now a source has revealed that the two brands will soon compete again in the sub-flagship segment in China. It is already known that Redmi is going to launch their Redmi K70 Ultra phone in their home market and Realme is bringing the Realme GT 6 model.
Redmi K70 Ultra and Realme GT 6 coming soon
A Chinese tipster claims that the Redmi K70 Ultra and Realme GT6 will debut in China soon. Both are going to be high-performance sub-flagship phones, which will come with discrete graphics chips. These two phones from Redmi and Realme will be especially suitable for those buyers who love mobile gaming. Rumor has it that the Redmi K70 Ultra and Realme GT6 will pack around 5,500mAh batteries and support 100W fast charging.
Notably, the China Compulsory Certification (3C) authority recently cleared a Realme phone with model number RMX3852. Which revealed that the phone could come with a 120W fast charger. According to reports, while it is called Realme GT Neo 6 in China, it might debut as Realme GT6 in the global market.
Regardless of the name, some of the specifications of this Realme handset have already been leaked. It is expected to feature an OLED panel, offering 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. And the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset is likely to be used, which will be paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone may have a massive 5,500 mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Redmi K70 Ultra will have MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset and 8 OLED screen, which will offer 1.5K resolution. It is rumored to come with up to 24GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,500mAh battery. Also, the Redmi K70 Ultra is expected to offer an IP68-rated chassis.
