Honor is currently said to be gearing up to launch the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro smartphones under its next-generation Honor series. Recently some renders of the Honor 200 Pro phone were leaked online, which later turned out to be incorrect. But a reliable tipster has now revealed some key specifications of the upcoming Honor 200 Pro model. He mainly focused on the phone's display and camera system. Let's take a look at them.
Honor 200 Pro: Display and Camera Specifications
Digital Chat Station claims that the Honor 200 Pro phone will have a screen with “1.5K” resolution and a punch-hole cutout. Also, he hinted at a slightly curved design on the display. So it is believed that the screen of the phone will probably feature a fine edge curvature similar to the predecessor Honor 100.
In terms of cameras, the Honor 200 Pro phone's rear camera setup is said to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a common feature of high-end phones. Also, the tipster mentions that the front camera will feature a 32-megapixel telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom capabilities.
Already, the Honor 200 Pro smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm's current flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. On the other hand, the standard Honor 200 model is said to pack the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which is a toned-down version of the 8 Gen 3 chip. While the launch date is yet to be revealed, Honor is rumored to unveil the Honor 200 series of phones by the end of May.
