Vivo S18 smartphone was announced on December 14 last year. The device then came with a total of three color variants, namely – White, Green and Black. But today (26th February) another new color option of this same model has been launched, named ‘Diamond Purple’. It will be available for sale from 1st March. Incidentally, the Vivo S18 smartphone offers three color variants of the previous smartphone with a glass back panel. But the new Diamond Purple color option comes with a three-dimensional diamond patterned leather finish. The same design was also seen in the Vivo X Flip clamshell foldable smartphone that arrived last year.
Vivo S18 Smartphone Diamond Purple Color Variant Price
The Diamond Purple color option of the Vivo S18 smartphone will be available in a total of four memory configurations. These selling prices remain the same as the previous model. As part of the launch offer though, the base version is being discounted for a limited time.
The Vivo S18 model is priced at 2,299 Yuan (around Rs. 26,200) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option. However, it will be sold in China for a limited time at 2,099 Yuan (around Rs. 23,900). And the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage variants are priced at 2,599 Yuan (about Tk 29,700) and 2,799 Yuan (about Tk 32,000) respectively. Besides, the top-end 16GB RAM + 512GB storage version will be available for 2,999 Yuan (about Rs. 34,200).
Vivo S18 smartphone specifications and features
The Vivo S18 smartphone features a 6.78-inch Full HD Plus curved OLED display, which offers a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,800 nits peak brightness. The design of this display is punch-hole (centered) style, with a 50-megapixel selfie camera located in the cutout. Again, the dual rear camera unit is noticeable on the back panel. These cameras are – 50 megapixel wide primary sensor and 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens.
Vivo S18 smartphone uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor to deliver better performance. A maximum of 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of ROM will be available as storage. Again this phone is powered by Android 14 based on OriginOS 4 custom skin. Moreover, there is an in-display fingerprint scanner and face recognition feature for security. The Vivo S18 smartphone has a 5,000mAh capacity battery, which supports 80W wired fast charging.
