Vivo launched the Vivo X80 series in the first half of last year and the Vivo X90 lineup in the second half. However, this year, sources claim that Vivo will only launch the X100 series by the end of this year. Increasing speculation, a tipster has revealed the name of the chipset used in the Vivo X100, X100 Pro and X100 Pro+ models. Vivo X100 series chipset name revealed
Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro will come with the MediaTek Dimension 9300 chipset. It is said that both the models will be the first phones in the world with the said processor. Note that the X90 and X90 Pro debuted in November last year as the first Dimension 9200 chip phones.
Also, the tipster claims that the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor will power the Vivo X100 Pro Plus. Notably, Qualcomm recently confirmed that their 2023 Tech Summit will be held between October 24 and October 26. It is speculated that the SD8G3 will be launched at that event.
The report also claims that the Vivo X100 Pro+ will come with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary camera, which was also used in the Vivo X90 Pro+ model. Finally, in terms of specifications, the Vivo X100 Pro is said to feature a 1-inch primary camera, coupled with a periscope telephoto camera with superior optical zoom. The tipster also reported that the device will come with 100W wired fast charging support and a glass back.
