The Moto G04s was launched quietly, with a 50MP camera and a large 5000mah battery

Popular brand under Lenovo, Motorola today quietly launched a new smartphone called Moto G04s. In terms of design and specifications, it is similar to the Moto G04 phone that was released earlier this year. But it has come with major upgrades. Moto G04s offers IPS LCD display, 50-megapixel primary camera sensor, Unisoc T606 processor and 5,000 mAh battery.

Moto G04s specifications and features

The Moto G04S has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel, which offers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels, 90 Hz refresh rate, 269 ppi pixel density, 20:9 aspect ratio and around 85 percent screen-to-body ratio. This screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The weight of the phone is 178 grams.

For photography, the Moto G04S features a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back and an LED flash unit. And in front of the phone is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls in the punch-hole above the display. Both cameras support full HD video recording at 30 frames per second (fps).

As for performance, the Moto G04s is powered by the Unisoc T606 processor and the phone is available in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage options. But for additional storage, the Moto G04s gets a microSD card slot and also supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM. This phone runs on the latest Android 14 operating system.

In terms of power backup, the Moto G04s uses a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 15W charging. However, a 10 watt charger will be available in the retail box of the device. Other features of the phone include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, near field communication (market dependent), GPS, single speaker with Dolby Atmos support and 3.5mm audio jack. The Moto G04s will be available in four shades – Concord Black, Sea Green, Satin Blue and Sunrise Orange. However, Motorola has not revealed any information about the price yet.

In short, the new Moto G04s is the same as the standard Moto G04. But the only difference is in the camera department. While the G04s has a 50-megapixel primary camera, the G04 features a lower-resolution 16-megapixel camera.
