The launch date of Poco F6 phone has been announced
Poco has confirmed in a post from their official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle that they will hold a launch event in Dubai on May 23, 3pm (GMT+4) for the global launch of the Poco F6 series. An event for the launch of the Poco F6 phone will be held in India on the same day at 4:30 PM Although the Poco F6 has confirmed its arrival in the Indian market, the release of the Pro variant in the country remains unclear.
Although, the brand has not revealed any specifications or features of the Poco F6 or Poco F6 Pro phones, the teaser published on Flipkart's site indicates that the Poco F6 will likely be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3 phone that was unveiled in China. On the other hand, the software build for the Poco F6 Pro suggests that it will be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70 model.
Poco F6/Poco F6 Pro: Specifications (Expected)
The Poco F6 Pro model is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with up to 16GB of RAM. It will likely feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, the device will feature a triple camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. And a 16 megapixel selfie camera is expected to be seen in front of the phone. The device is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery, which will support 120W fast charging technology.
On the other hand, the standard Poco F6 phone will likely have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, which will support a 120Hz refresh rate. The device may offer a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. As for the camera, it will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor, coupled with an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide sensor. Finally for power backup, the Poco F6 phone is said to include a 5,000mAh battery unit with 90W fast charging support.
