iQOO is currently gearing up to launch a new 5G handset in the Indian market. We are talking about the much-awaited iQOO Z9 5G smartphone, which will be released in the country on March 12. According to the information released so far, it will be the successor of the existing iQOO Z7 series. However, no other definite information was known until now. But now the brand itself has revealed the full specifications of their upcoming handset. Due to which its display features, processor, audio system and even battery capacity are known.
iQOO Z9 5G smartphone features confirmed ahead of official launch
The upcoming iQOO Z9 5G smartphone will feature an AMOLED display panel, which will support 120 Hz refresh rate, 300 Hz touch sampling rate and 1800 nits peak brightness. The company has also confirmed that the device will offer 120Hz instant touch sampling rate to provide a great gaming experience. The display will be surrounded by narrow bezels and will be punch-hole (centered) style in terms of design. Again, this phone can use MediaTek Dimension 7200 Ultra processor and Mali-G610MP4 GPU to provide better performance.
For photography and videography, the iQOO Z9 5G smartphone will get a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 882 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. Notably, this will be the first phone in the segment to offer OIS camera feature. Meanwhile, it will have a dual stereo speaker setup to deliver good sound. In terms of power backup, a 5,000 mAh battery will be provided. The smartphone – post-launch – will be available in Brushed Green and Graphene Blue color variants with a unique rear pattern.
Besides, the teaser image shared by the company shows the power button and volume rocker on the right side of the upcoming handset. The device will be 7.89mm thick.
Incidentally, iQOO claims that its smartphone has scored more than 7,30,000 points on the AnTuTu V10 benchmarking platform. Hence the device has already broken the record of its predecessors by setting the highest score in the segment.
Meanwhile, e-commerce platform Amazon has live a dedicated microsite of the upcoming iQOO Z9 5G smartphone on Halffill. which ensures online availability of the handset post-launch. After all, the company has confirmed that this model will be manufactured at Vivo’s Noida-based manufacturing plant. That is, the iQOO Z9 5G phone is going to get the ‘Made in India’ tag!
