Vivo X100s and Vivo X100s Pro have finally been launched. Both the phones have powerful MediaTek Dimension 9300+ processor. Again the device comes with two advanced APUs, which provide a 10% performance boost for 'Artificial Intelligence' (AI) based tasks. Both the standard and 'Pro' handsets of this series – display, selfie camera, and storage, and charging are similar. However, the rear camera is completely different. Vivo X100s and Vivo X100s Pro: Specifications and Features
Both the Vivo X100S and Vivo X100S Pro smartphones feature a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display. Which includes flat display in standard model and curved display in higher version. The display on both models supports 2800×1260 pixel resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness, 1.07 billion colors, 93.43% screen-to-body ratio and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. Both smartphones are powered by MediaTek Dimension 9300+ processor with a maximum clock speed of 3.4 GHz. The handsets come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Incidentally, the company has included the V2 chip in the standard variant of the series and the new V3 imaging chip in the Pro model.
Now let's talk about the camera department. The higher-end Vivo X100s Pro phone has a triple rear camera setup. These are – 50-megapixel primary sensor (1-inch sensor size) with f/1.75 aperture + 50-megapixel Zeiss APO super-telephoto lens with f/2.5 aperture and 4.3x optical zoom + f/2.0 aperture 50 megapixel ultra-wide angle camera. On the other hand, the Vivo X100s phone has a 50-megapixel primary sensor (aperture: f/1.57) + 64-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom (aperture: f/2.57) + a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens (aperture: f/2 .0).
The rear camera system of both phones supports 100x digital zoom. Again the 'Pro' model offers video recording at 8K resolution and the non-Pro variant at a maximum of 4K resolution. Besides, both models have a 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture on the front.
For power backup, the Vivo X100s phone has a 5,100mAh capacity battery with 100W wired charging support. On the other hand, the Vivo X100s Pro phone has a larger 5,400mAh capacity battery, which supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Finally both models receive IP69 and IPX8 ratings.
Vivo X100s and Vivo X100s Pro Smartphone Price
Both the Vivo X100s and Vivo X100s Pro smartphones will be available in the Chinese market – Titanium, White and Black / Dark Gray color options. However, the standard model of the series comes in an additional green color option.
Now let's talk about the price. The Vivo X100s phone price in China starts at 3,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 45,700). This price is for the base variant with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. Again, 16GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage options will be available at 4,399 Yuan (approx. Rs. 50,200) and 4,699 Yuan (approx. Rs. 53,700) respectively. Besides, the top-end 16GB RAM + 1TB storage option has been launched at a price of 5,199 Yuan (about Rs. 59,400).
On the other hand, the Vivo X100s Pro model comes with three storage variants. Among which the base 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage options have been priced at 4,999 Yuan (about Tk 57,100) and 5,599 Yuan (about Tk 64,000) respectively. Again, the higher 16GB RAM + 1TB storage model will cost 6,199 Yuan (around Rs. 70,800).
