For the past few months, Vivo has been rumored to be preparing to launch its V30 series smartphones in the global market. And now the brand has officially confirmed the launch. Vivo has shared the launch teaser of the Vivo V30 lineup on social media in Thailand. Notably, Vivo V30 and V30 Pro included in this series appeared on multiple certification sites recently with messages of imminent arrival. The Vivo V30 series is set to launch in Thailand
In a teaser shared on their official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Vivo Thailand confirmed that the upcoming Vivo V30 series will come in standard V30 and V30 Pro variants. The smartphones are expected to be launched in the country soon. The teaser image also revealed the design of the Vivo V30 series.
The rear panel of the phone is seen with a slim profile and patterned design. The back has a rectangular island, the top half of which houses the square module with the camera sensor with Zeiss branding, and the bottom half houses the twin LED light setup.
It should be noted that the Vivo V-series phones in the global market are mainly marketed as rebadged versions of China’s Vivo S-series. So the upcoming V30 and V30 Pro phones could be the rebranded Vivo S18 and Vivo S18 Pro, which were already launched in China last year. So, the specifications of the upcoming V-series devices are no longer unknown.
Vivo V30 and V30 Pro will have a curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The standard model will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200, while the Pro model will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Both the phones will come with 12GB RAM, 512GB storage and a 5,000mAh battery unit with 80W fast charging support.
