The design of Infinix GT series phone is similar to Nothing Phone (2), the light will shine on the back panel

Infinix will reportedly launch a new GT series of phones in India next month. Before the launch, various information about the phone started leaking online. And now a well-known tipster has made a surprising claim about this Infinix handset, which has already created a buzz. The device is rumored to bear a striking resemblance to the recently launched Nothing Phone (2). The two smartphones of the Nothing brand that are currently available in the market, one of the highlights of both the models is the Glyph interface LED light strip on the back panel. According to the tipster, this special feature will also be seen in the design of Infinix’s new phone. The move indicates that brands like Infinix are aiming to provide users with a similar experience at a more affordable price point.

Will Infinix GT series phones feature Glyph interface like Nothing Phone (2)?

A render shared on Twitter by tipster Mukul Sharma has created a buzz in the tech world. According to these renders, Infinix’s upcoming GT series phone will offer a unique glyph pattern. But Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, took to Twitter to express his intention to protect the Glyph interface they created. In it, Pei claimed that the design is protected by Nothing’s patent and also said that the company is also prepared for possible legal action to prevent patent infringement by other smartphone brands.

As of now, there is no official announcement about the launch date of Infinix’s new GT series phones. Whether Infinix actually makes a device like the Nothing Phone, remains to be seen. Again, if the speculation turns out to be true, it will be interesting to see how Infinix markets it. The tipster claims that the new Infinix phone, similar to the Nothing Phone, will hit the Indian market in August, creating more anticipation among consumers.

Although, specifics about the upcoming Infinix phone are scarce at the moment, but it is speculated that it might come with a dual or triple rear camera setup. Also, the new Infinix GT series phone may be targeted at mobile gamers, although details about its specifications are yet to be revealed.
