Samsung has recently announced the date of its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul, South Korea. It is going to be held on July 26. This is the first time the tech company is hosting an Unpacked event in their home country. Samsung is going to launch several new products at the event. Most notable among them are the Galaxy Z-series flagship foldable smartphones. Samsung has already started accepting pre-reservations for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 in India. For those who book in advance, the company has also announced various offers. Now a source has revealed the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 sale dates.
Samsung Galaxy Z Foldable sale date revealed
According to 91Mobiles Hindi, the pre-booking page for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 in India has confirmed that they will launch in the country on the same date. Samsung is expected to announce the pricing and availability of these smartphones on July 26 The report cites one of Samsung’s leading retail partners to reveal the sale date
The retailer, which has been associated with Samsung for a long time, said that the pre-booking of the smartphones will start from July 26 However, the company will start selling in the Indian market just two weeks later, i.e. from August 14 Samsung has started pre-booking at Rs 1,999. It will get many other benefits like vouchers up to Rs.5,000.
It is heard that the price of the 256 GB variant of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 in France will be 1,899 Euros (approximately Rs. 1,72,500). And its 512 GB and 1 TB versions will be priced at 2,039 Euros (approx. Rs. 1,85,000) and 2,279 Euros (approx. Rs. 2,07,000) respectively. On the other hand, the 256GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be priced at EUR 1,199 (roughly Rs. 1,09,000). Again, the top-end model with 512 GB storage can be priced at 1,339 Euros (approximately Rs. 1,22,330). However, as the tax rate is high in Europe, it is expected that the price will be much lower in this country.
Also, the render indicates that Samsung’s new smartphones will not see significant design changes. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to have a 7.6-inch AMOLED primary screen and a 6.2-inch AMOLED secondary display. Both displays will support FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED primary display and a 3.2-inch AMOLED cover screen.
Both the smartphones are expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be available with a maximum of 12 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. And the Galaxy Z Flip 5 model will offer up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The smartphones will run on Android 13 based One UI 5.1 software version. The latest China Compulsory Certification (3C) listing confirms that it will have 25W fast charging support.
