Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event held in February. The South Korean company is currently gearing up for its second Galaxy Unpacked event this year. It will take place in late July, with the much-awaited flagship foldable, the Galaxy Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, as well as multiple devices like the Tab S9 and Watch 6 series taking off the screen. Earlier, Samsung launched two new exclusive color options in India for the flagship Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Launched last February, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is available in three standard color options – Green, Phantom Black and Cream. The phone is also available in some exclusive colors like Graphite and Lime. And now two schemes namely Red and Sky Blue have joined the list of exclusive color variants alongside the existing Graphite and Lime. Notably, the prices of these new color options have not been increased. These shades can be purchased from Samsung’s official website and the brand’s official stores in India.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra features a 6.8-inch Quad-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED (AMOLED) 2X Infinity-O display, which offers a variable refresh rate of 1-120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1,750 nits. The device is powered by a Galaxy-exclusive Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, offering improved performance with a clock speed of up to 3.36 GHz. The Galaxy S23 Ultra features vapor chamber cooling for heat dissipation. With an Armor Aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, the phone is quite durable. For security, it includes an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and runs Samsung’s OneUI 5.1 user interface based on Android 13.
For photography, the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s rear camera system includes a 200-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), Super HDR and Pixel Enhancer, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 10x zoom. There is a megapixel periscope lens and a 3D TOF sensor And in front of the phone there is a 12 megapixel dual pixel camera with AI object awareness. It supports 8K video recording at 30 frames per second (fps) with VDIS technology.
For power backup, the Galaxy S23 Ultra uses a 5,000 battery with 45W fast charging support. Besides, notable features of the phone include Ultra Wide Band (UWB) capability, IP68 rating and an in-built S Pen stylus. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra offers up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
