Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G made its grand debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2024) event in Barcelona, Spain. Coming as a gaming smartphone, this handset will have MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC processor with 12 GB RAM. The Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and punch-hole cutout, offering 2,160Hz dimming. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Dimension 6080 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. However, the RAM can be virtually expanded up to 24GB. For heat management, this techno phone offers 27,342 mm of cooling area. It also features e-Sports Pro operation engine and 4D Vibration Sense for gaming. The phone runs on HiOS 14 custom skin.
For photography, the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G has a triple rear camera setup, with a 108-megapixel primary sensor. For selfies and video chats, the handset has a 32-megapixel megapixel front camera with LED flash. The Pova 6 Pro 5G is the company’s first phone to support Dolby Atmos spatial sound. The rear panel of the handset has Dynamic MiniLED lights with 210 LEDs. They can be customized for different scenarios including calls, power status, gaming and music.
For power backup, the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G phone uses a 6,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging and 10W reverse charging support. The company claims that the fast charging technology can charge the battery from zero to 50 percent in just 20 minutes and 100 percent in 50 minutes. The battery provides over 11 hours of gaming, over 14 hours of video streaming and over 31 hours of calling time on a single charge.
Availability of Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G
Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G will start rolling out in countries including India, Philippines and Saudi Arabia from the end of the month. The price of the handset is expected to be revealed at the time of launch based on the market. It will be available across Southeast Asia, South Asia, Middle East and Latin America within the next few months. It will be available in Comet Green and Meteorite Gray shades.
