Tecno launched its camera-centric Camon 20 series of smartphones in the Indian market late last May. The lineup includes three models – Tecno Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro 5G and Camon 20 Premier 5G. Meanwhile, the standard model is already available in the country at Tk 14,999. The brand has confirmed that the Pro and Premier models will be available for purchase in the second and third week of June respectively. Last week, the company started taking pre-orders for the Camon 20 Pro 5G. And now Tecno has finally confirmed the sale date of this device.
Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G Price and Sale Date in India
Tecno has confirmed that the Camon 20 Pro 5G will be available for purchase in India from June 15 at 12pm (local time). Until then, customers can pre-book the device from Amazon. Those who pre-order will receive a free Techno Wireless Earbud as a complimentary gift.
The Camon 20 Pro 5G will be available in two variants in India – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. These variants are priced at Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999 respectively. The device is available in two color options – Dark Welkin and Serenity Blue.
Specifications of Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G
Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, which offers a FullHD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. For security, it also includes an under-display fingerprint scanner. The device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimension 8050 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of storage. The phone runs HiOS 13 based on Android 13 user interface.
For photography and videography, the back panel of the Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G features a triple camera unit comprising of a 64-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. And for selfies, the phone has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. For power backup, the Camon 20 Pro 5G comes with a large 5,000mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charging.
Meanwhile, the Camon 20 series also includes the Camon 20 Pro 4G model, which has not made its debut in India. However, the Camon 20 Premier 5G model of this series is expected to be available for sale in the country in the third week of this month.
