Tecno responded by unveiling the Camon 30 series of smartphones at the Mobile World Congress in February last year. Tecno Camon 40 series will be launched this year as its successor. Apart from the 4G and 5G variants, the lineup will also see the launch of base, pro, and premium models. Now the upcoming Tecno Camon 40 4G and Camon 40 have been spotted on the NBTC and FCC websites.
According to a report by MySmartPrice, a Tecno smartphone with model number CM8 has been spotted on the FCC certification site. Earlier the IMEI listing revealed that the phone will be called Tecno Camon 40 Premier. It will support both 5G and 4G connectivity along with Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi and NFC support.
Tecno Camon 40 Premier renders show a circular camera module on the back panel. Inside which appears to be three camera sensors with a telephoto lens. Outside the camera island is a pill-shaped LED flash unit. The power button and volume key are visible on the right side of the phone.
The device will come in at least 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage configuration. There may be 70W fast charging support. On the other hand, the phone spotted in Thailand's NBTC certification is the Tecno Camon 4G. It will not get 5G support. There will be a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. It may come in 8GB RAM and 256GB storage options.
