Sony is going to launch Poco flagship killer with dual cameras

Xiaomi’s popular sub-brand Poco is gearing up to launch the flagship killer Poco F6 series in global markets including India. The lineup is rumored to include two models – the standard Poco F6 and the Poco F6 Pro. But ahead of any announcement now, the standard Poco F6 model has been spotted on India’s BIS certification platform, hinting at the phone’s arrival in the country. Let’s find out what information came out of this certification.

Poco F6 gets BIS approval

The new Poco F6 phone with model number 24069PC21I has been listed in the Bureau of Indian Standards certification database. The letter “I” at the end of the model number denotes its Indian variant. It was recently spotted in the IMEI database with a global variant of 24069PC21G model number. An earlier report mentioned that Poco is planning to launch the F6 in India by May or June.

Poco F6 Specifications (Probable)

The Poco F6 smartphone will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3, which is expected to launch in China this April. The Turbo 3 has already received approval from the China Compulsory Certification (3C) site, which confirmed the presence of 90W wired charging support. That is, the Poco F6 will also come with the same charging support.

It should be noted that the smartphone was recently spotted on the Geekbench database with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. The device scored 1,932 points in the single-core test and 4,928 points in the multi-core test. The phone is rumored to come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Poco F6 was also spotted on Mi Code, which revealed that it will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultrawide camera. And the phone will feature a 20-megapixel OmniVision OV20B40 selfie camera.

Note that the Poco F6 Pro smartphone was recently spotted on the TDRA certification platform in the United Arab Emirates. Which confirms that Poco F6 Pro will also be launched in the global market soon. The Pro variant is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
