Smartphone: 108MP AI camera phone coming to country, launch after Valentine’s Day

Honor X9b is going to be launched in India next week. The launch event of this phone will be held on February 15. Earlier, the brand confirmed several specifications of Honor X9b such as display, chipset, battery and storage. But so far, Honor has not revealed any information about the device’s camera. But today Honor revealed the primary camera details of the X9b.

Camera specifications of Honor X9b

The Honor X9B will be launched in India with a 108-megapixel primary camera. Like the X9B launched in other markets, the Indian model may also come with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Htech Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Madhav Seth claims that the Honor X9B features an AI-powered motion-sensing camera, which can detect ideal moments with artificial intelligence.

Specifications of Honor X9b

The Honor X9B features a 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED (AMOLED) display and is confirmed to have an integrated fingerprint sensor for in-screen security. The device supports 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.

Besides, the phone will come with 8GB of physical RAM, 8GB of virtual RAM and 256GB of in-built storage. Magic OS 7.2 is confirmed to run on custom skins, but it is not clear whether it will run on Android 13 OS or Android 14. The phone can come in two color options – Midnight Black and Sunshine Orange.

Note that Honor Choice X5 earbuds and Honor Choice Watch will also be launched along with the handset at the February 15 event. Those who buy the Honor X9b will get a free mobile protection plan worth Rs 2,999, which will also offer one-time screen replacement within the first six months of purchase. It will come with an 18-month warranty and door-to-door support.
