This month, Shaomi could launch their new Xiaomi smartphone series in China. This lineup may include two 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro max devices with Xiaomi 17 models. The company has not yet announced the launch date of the phones. However, before the launch, the design of the Xiaomi 17 Pro handset has come to the fore today. From which the pro and pro max will have a secondary display on the back panel of both models. In addition, a senior official of the company confirmed that Xiaomi 17 series will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Elite Jane 5 processor smartphone.

The company posted a post from their official Weibo account confirmed that Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro MAX phones will have new “Magic Back Screen”. The teaser shows that a secondary display is located on the back of the phone, which is slightly taller and rectangular rear camera island.
Shaomi President Lu Webing said in another Weibo post that Shaomi 1, Xiaomi 3 Pro and Xiaomi -3 Pro Max models would be the first device powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 4 Elite Jane 4 chipset. These handsets with the latest flagship Qualcomm Chip will be available in China in the beginning, later launch in other regions.

Tipstar Devayan Roy claims that Xiaomi 17 Pro smartphone will have a 5.5-inch LTPO display with a 120 Hartz refresh rate and the bezel of 1.5 millimeters will be seen all around this screen. The device will probably appear with a 5 megapixel primary rear camera, a 5 megapixel periscope telephoto shooter and a 5 megapixel ultrawide lens.
For protection, the handset is reported to have IP3 rated dust and water-resistant build and an ultrasonic in-dispel fingerprint sensor. For power backup, Xiaomi 17 Pro smartphone can offer a 5.5 mAh battery, which will support 5 watts and wireless charging.
Note that the Xiaomi series is coming up as a successor to the Xiaomi 15 lineup last year. The company probably chose this name to make this series a direct contestant in the iPhone 17 series. Base Xiaomi 17 phones may have a 5.5-inch LTPO Old (LTPO OLED) display, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and 1 wat ward and 3 watt wireless fast charging support. It can come with IP3 (IP68) or IP3 (IP69) with dust and water resistant rating.
For photography, the standard Xiaomi 17 model will match three 5 megapixel sensors, one of which may be a telephoto and an ultrawide lens. And there may be a 12 megapixel sensor in front of the phone. The device will run on the Android 3 -based Hyperos 3 (Hyperos 3) custom skin.
