Samsung’s phone is coming with ‘super update’, battery capacity will increase with camera improvement

Samsung Galaxy S23 series was launched last February. The smartphones of this series have already received several updates. The South Korean company is currently rumored to be gearing up for a major firmware update release for the Galaxy S23 series. The update is so important that it is referred to as “Super Update”. It is expected to bring huge improvements to the S23 series. While the exact details of the update are unclear, a tipster said that it will be rolled out sequentially starting next week. Let’s know about the new update in detail.

What is the Samsung Galaxy S23’s “Super Update” going to offer?

Tipster Ice Universe has reported that a “super update” is coming to the Samsung Galaxy S23 series phones as soon as next week. One key aspect of this update that will please users is its ability to provide excellent battery life to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Besides, the overall performance of the devices may improve further with this firmware launch.

On the camera front, Samsung is expected to introduce a new 2x portrait camera mode on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This feature will achieve the 50-megapixel cropping capability of the 200-megapixel sensor, resulting in better quality portrait shots. Apart from that, it is also expected to fix some of the camera related issues that the phones currently have.

Besides, Samsung is also believed to be considering sending a single major update or multiple minor updates for the Galaxy S23 in hopes of enhancing the flagship experience. Although users seem to prefer a single update to avoid multiple reboot processes.

It should be noted that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series already offers impressive performance, so any further improvement through the update will be appreciated. Samsung’s ability to optimize performance without compromising on battery life will undoubtedly be welcomed by consumers.
