Samsung-Xiaomi be careful! Now Motorola Edge 50 Pro is coming to shake the market

Motorola is currently rumored to be working on its next Edge 50 lineup of smartphones. However, the company has not yet released any official information about the series. But before that, the likely Motorola Edge 50 Pro has been approved by multiple international regulatory bodies, hinting at an imminent launch. Let’s find out what exactly the certifications reveal about this upcoming handset.

The Motorola Edge 50 was spotted on multiple certification platforms

First off, UAE’s TDRA (TDRA) has listed a new Motorola phone with model number XT2402-2, confirming its trade name as Motorola Edge 50 Pro. Although it hasn’t revealed any information regarding the specifications of the device, it has confirmed the official name of the phone, making it easy to find it on other certification platforms.

Meanwhile, the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification website has recently given the green signal for four Motorola smartphones with model numbers XT2403-1, XT2403-2, XT2403-4 and XT2403-5 to hit the US market. Although their commercial names are yet to be revealed, their similarity to the Motorola Edge 50 Pro’s TDRA model number suggests that they could be different versions of the same device. The FCC also revealed that the phone with model number XT2403-2 has E-SIM support

Apart from this, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification has listed two Moto phones with model numbers XT2403-1 and XT2431-1. However, it is not clear whether the second one is the Motorola Edge 50 Pro or part of the Edge 50 series, or an entirely new model. Also, Motorola has registered possible Edge 50 series accessories on the TUV Rheinland website. These include a 50W wireless charger, a max 125W wired charger and a 4,500mAh battery. These can be made for Motorola Edge 50 series.
