Samsung will change the way you see time on mobile forever, you know how

Leading companies emphasize innovation to maintain a unique position in the smartphone market. One of the most popular names in the smart phone market, Samsung is no exception. A tipster has now revealed that the South Korean company is working on introducing a new way to check the time on their devices. It will display the time even when the user's device screen is off. The feature will reportedly be activated through a simple gesture. The feature is speculated to be added to the Good Lock app rather than being integrated directly into the device's operating system. Let's find out what information has emerged about this new feature of Samsung phones.

Samsung Galaxy phones are about to get a new feature for viewing the time

Tipster Tarun Vats shared details about this upcoming feature developed by Samsung in an X (ex-Twitter) post. This is seen in the register module of the Good Lock app. Currently, this app allows Samsung phone users to customize their lock screen and overall UI of the device.

As claimed by the tipster, an update for the register module is currently being developed. This will allow users to check the time on their device by double tapping on the back of the phone, even when the screen is off. The tipster claims that this could be known as “Check Time with Back Tap”.

The feature is said to be under development now. It is also speculated that it might come with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 phones, which will run One UI 6.1.1 software version, which will be announced at Galaxy Unpacked in July. Unpacked) is said to be launched at the event. However, other devices may then get the feature with the One UI 7 update, which is likely to be Samsung's Android 15-based update.

Notably, Samsung is also reported to be developing One UI 6.1.1 update for their smartphones. Notably, it could bring major camera improvements to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra phone. The device, which was launched last January, is said to have issues related to shutter lag, motion blur and zoom quality. Tipster Ice Universe claims that One UI 6.1.1 may include several camera updates. However, it sounds like it is still in its early stages and needs to go through a lot of testing before being released to the public.
