Samsung is going to release a super update for their Galaxy S23 series. The series includes the standard S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra – all three models are getting this major update. The June update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is currently shipping to Southeast Asian countries including Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. It is expected to reach other regions soon as well. The firmware version of the update is S91xBXXU2AWF1 and its file size is 2.2 GB. The update will also bring the June security patch. Notably, the updated build number will vary depending on the region.
Samsung Galaxy S23 series users can install the update by going to their device settings, clicking on the Software Update option, and tapping on the Download and Install option. Incidentally, a Twitter user has shared a changelog of what the June, 2023 update is going to offer for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.
According to the Twitter user, this firmware update brings significant improvements to the camera, including a 2x zoom option in the camera’s portrait mode, fixes for autofocus and HDR performance issues, and night mode processing. In addition, haptics will also be improved with smoother user interface animations and transitions and system stability.
In this context, Samsung recently started rolling out the June, 2023 security update for its Galaxy Z Fold 4 foldable smartphone as well, which fixes more than 60 security flaws found in Android mobiles and tablets.
