Samsung is bringing 1TB storage smartphone to compete with Chinese companies

Samsung is going to launch their next generation Z series of flagship foldable smartphones soon. These upcoming devices are Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 But ahead of any official announcement, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphone has now appeared on the GeekBench benchmark database, revealing some of its key features as usual. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 foldable phone has been spotted on Geekbench with the model number SM-F956U. The letter 'U' in the model number indicates that this is the US or American variant of the upcoming foldable phone. In terms of benchmark results, the device scored 1,964 points in the single-core test and 6,619 points in the multi-core test.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 achieved this score with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This chipset is paired with 12GB of RAM. Geekbench also confirms that the new foldable phone will run on Android 14 operating system. An earlier report mentioned that the storage configuration and color options of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 phone were also revealed. The device is expected to launch in Navy (Blue), Silver Shadow, Light Pink, Crafted Black and White variants.

It is also reported that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be available in three storage options, namely 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. The battery size of the foldable phone was also revealed recently. According to the report, the smartphone will have a 4,400mAh battery, which will support 25W wired fast charging. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 phone will also likely offer 15W wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
