Poco F6 Pro will be officially unveiled in the global market later this week. But ahead of any official announcement, the brand's latest teaser poses a challenge to the South Korean tech giant, Samsung, and its flagship phone. The Xiaomi subsidiary brand recently shared a teaser, comparing their upcoming Poco F6 Pro phone with the Samsung Galaxy S24+ model. Poco F6 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy S24+
The Poco F6 series will be launched in the global market on May 23. These smartphones are set to debut in the market alongside the brand's first tablet, the Poco Pad. To build hype for the upcoming launch, Poco has now shared a new teaser, pitting the Poco F6 Pro device against the Galaxy S24 Plus. The company claims that there is no competition in the price at which the F6 Pro phone will be launched. The teaser compares the two devices in various aspects.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus has been launched with the company's Exynos 2400 chipset, while the Poco F6 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It supports 120W wired fast charging, which is quite a bit faster than the 45W wired fast charging of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus. The Samsung phone has a dynamic AMOLED (AMOLED) 2X display with a QHD+ 120Hz refresh rate with 2600 nits peak brightness. And the Poco phone will have a WQHD+ 120Hz Flow AMOLED screen with 4,000 nits peak brightness. The F6 Pro will come with a larger 5,000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24 Plus model has a 4,900 mAh cell.
Besides, the Poco F6 Pro phone will feature a premium metal frame. And the Samsung Galaxy S24+ handset has an Armor Aluminum frame. Both devices offer a 50-megapixel triple camera setup with optical (OIS). Apart from these specifications, the price is probably another aspect by which the Poco F6 Pro can surpass Samsung's current generation flagship device. In the US market, the Samsung Galaxy S24+ starts at $999 (roughly Rs. 83,200), while the top model costs $1,199 (roughly Rs. 99,840). On the other hand, none of the three storage variants of the Poco F6 Pro handset will cross the $1,000 (roughly Rs. 83,270) mark, with a maximum of 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
