Samsung launched their S-series FE branding in January last year. However, recent reports claim that the South Korean company is gearing up to launch the next-generation Galaxy S23 FE model. It is likely to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year. Multiple information about the device has already come to light through various sources. The Galaxy S23 FE is rumored to use the Exynos 2200 processor, which was previously featured in the Galaxy S22 series. But the chip was criticized for poor performance. So later it was not seen in any other model of the company in that way. However, the fear of the inclusion of this chipset in the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has now been proven to be true from the Geekbench listing of this phone.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE appeared on Geekbench database
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE with the model number SM-711B has appeared on Geekbench 6, revealing a number of details. It is said to have Android 13 OS and 8 GB of physical RAM. This Samsung handset will have an octa-core processor with a base clock speed of 1.82 GHz and a boost clock speed of 2.80 GHz. The s5e9925 code number motherboard and the Samsung Xclipse 920 GPU undoubtedly indicate that this is actually the Exynos 2200 chipset.
Although, the Exynos 2200 was initially unveiled with the flagship Samsung Galaxy S22 series, it failed to live up to consumer expectations as a rival to last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The Galaxy S21 FE has only a 5% increase in CPU performance over its predecessor, the Exynos 2100. In addition, Exynos 2200 offers about 15% better GPU performance.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: Specifications (Possible)
Speculations are rife that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will feature a 6.4-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It will be available in various memory options including 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The Galaxy S23 FE model will come with a 4,500mAh battery, which will support 25W fast charging. A major upgrade will be seen in the field of photography. Because instead of the 12-megapixel primary camera on the Galaxy S21 FE, it will have a high-resolution 50-megapixel main camera.
