Samsung Galaxy M55s spotted on BIS website, will be launched in the country very soon

Samsung is going to launch the Samsung Galaxy M55S phone in the global market soon. Ahead of the launch, the handset has appeared on India's BIS certification platform.

Samsung is expected to soon launch an upgraded version of the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G phone, which will be called the Samsung Galaxy M55S, in global markets including India. And today the Samsung Galaxy M55S model was spotted on India's BIS certification platform, hinting at the phone's imminent arrival.

Samsung Galaxy M55s BIS Certification

According to the latest report by MySmartPrice, the upcoming Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-M558B/DS has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards certification. However, the certification did not reveal any further information.

On the other hand, the Geekbench listing revealed that the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. The chipset will have a peak clock speed of 2.4 GHz and is paired with an Adreno 644 GPU and 8 GB of RAM.

The listing confirms that the device will run One UI 6.1 custom skin based on Android 14. Wi-Fi Alliance certification reveals that the device will come with support for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Samsung is expected to confirm the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M55s next week.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display that offers Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, the Samsung Galaxy M55 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and the phone comes with a large 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It has a triple rear camera of 50 megapixels.
