Samsung today launched the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G as its new M-series phone in the Indian market, starting at Rs 26,999. Talking about features, it will get FHD+ sAMOLED display, 50 megapixel triple rear camera setup, Dolby Atmos supported audio system, latest Android 14 based custom skin, and powerful battery with 45W fast charging support. Samsung Galaxy M55 5G Smartphone Price and Availability in India
The Samsung Galaxy M55 smartphone has been launched in the country in three storage configurations. Of which the base variant with 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage has been priced at Tk 26,999. Again, the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and top-end 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage models are priced at Tk 29,999 and Tk 32,999 respectively. It comes in – Denim Black and Light Green color options.
Aspirants can purchase the handset from the Samsung India online store and e-commerce platform Amazon (Amazon.in) starting today.
As part of the relevant launch offer, a flat Rs 2,000 instant discount will be offered on the purchase price of the Samsung Galaxy M55 smartphone through EMI transaction or full payment through any leading bank credit/debit card. After which the device can be pocketed by spending a minimum of Rs 24,999.
Samsung Galaxy M55 5G Smartphone Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G smartphone features a 6.7-inch Full HD Plus (1080×2400 pixels) sAMOLED Plus Infinity-O display panel. This touchscreen – supports 120 Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits peak brightness. It uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and Adrenaline 644 GPU for better performance. As the operating system, the latest Android 14 based OneUI 6 custom skin is pre-loaded. The company has promised four Android updates and five years of security updates with this phone. The device will be available with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Its storage capacity can be expanded up to 1 terabyte via microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G smartphone features a triple rear camera unit with LED flash. These cameras are – 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, VDIS and f/1.8 aperture + 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture + 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture. Meanwhile, the device has a 50-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture on the front.
Talking about other features, it comes with Samsung Knox Vault support. And it is the first phone in the M-series to offer unique hardware-based security and tamper-proof solutions. It will get Dolby Atmos supported audio system to deliver good sound and in-display fingerprint sensor as a security feature.
