Samsung is currently shifting its focus away from flagship models to mid-range handsets. Reportedly, the tech giant is going to launch a new model under their A-series very soon. The device will come with the name Samsung Galaxy A55. It will be the successor to the existing Galaxy A54 model. Today tipster Mukul Sharma shared live images of the upcoming handset online. Due to which we got a clear idea of ​​its design. Besides, some key features of the Samsung Galaxy A55 phone have also been revealed.

According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A55 model will offer the company’s signature design. That is, three separate camera cutouts on the left side of its back panel and an LED flash light will be noticed right next to it. These cameras can be – 50 megapixel primary sensor, 12 megapixel secondary lens and 5 megapixel sensor. Below this back panel is the brand logo in the middle. The power button and volume rocker are located on the left side of the device. Apart from the images, it seems that the smartphone will come with a metal frame and offer a flat design.
Apart from the design, the tipster has also shared several specifications of this A-series model. It is reported that the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G phone will have up to 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB/256 GB of storage. It will likely come with a 6.5-inch flat display panel with 120Hz refresh rate support, which will guarantee a fluid visual experience. Exynos 1480 processor and Xclipse 530 GPU can be used in this model. Again, there will be a 32-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video calling. For power backup there will be a 5,000mAh battery, which will support 25W wired charging.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G phone has been seen in two colors in the newly released live images. But it is expected to come with – Assam Ice Blue, Assam Navy Blue and Assam Lilac color variants.
The launch date of the model has not been confirmed by the company. But since its predecessor i.e. Samsung Galaxy A54 was launched in the first half of March last year, it is likely that the successor will follow a similar launch timeline.
