After recently launching the Samsung M34 5G smartphone in India, the South Korean brand is now reportedly working on a new budget phone called the Galaxy A05. As the name suggests, the smartphone will belong to Samsung’s next-generation budget series and may debut soon. Samsung Galaxy A05 gets WiFi Alliance approval
The Samsung Galaxy A05 phone with the model number SM-A055F-DS is listed in the Wi-Fi Alliance Certification Database. The certification confirms that the device will be named Galaxy A05 and will run on Android 13 operating system. Also, it will support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands. However, apart from these, no other information about the device has surfaced so far. So to get an idea of what the Samsung Galaxy A05 can offer post-launch, let’s take a look at the specifications of its predecessor, the Galaxy A04.

Launched in August last year, the Samsung Galaxy A04 features an Infinity-V notch and a 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution. This entry-level phone from Samsung is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. Again, its storage can be expanded via microSD card slot. The Galaxy A04 runs on Android 12 OS, with One UI Core 4.1 custom skin layered on top.
For photography, the rear panel of the Samsung Galaxy A04 features a dual-camera system with a 50-megapixel primary camera (f/1.8 aperture) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with LED flash.
