Last month Redmi’s upcoming affordable flagship smartphone, the Redmi K60 Ultra, was spotted on China’s 3C (CCC) certification platform database with model number 23078RKD5C. The handset is expected to launch next August alongside devices like Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, Xiaomi Pad 6 Max and Redmi Pad 2. Before that, the memory and color options of the Redmi K60 Ultra have been revealed by sources.
Redmi K60 Ultra storage variant and color options leaked
The Redmi K60 Ultra is rumored to come in two variants – 12GB RAM + 512GB storage and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage. It can be chosen in two color shades like Black and Cyan. The Redmi K60 Ultra is also claimed to be an affordable flagship phone with an attractive design. It will use MediaTek Dimension 9200 Plus chipset.
However, for those looking for a more powerful flagship phone, the Redmi K60 Pro is the ideal option. Because it has more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. At the time of launch, the price was 3,299 Yuan (roughly Rs. 37,750), but it is now available for 2,599 Yuan (roughly Rs. 29,750). Various reports have already revealed some specifications of the Redmi K60 Ultra.
Speculations are rife that the device will sport a 6.7-inch OLED display, offering 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It can run on MIUI 14 (MIUI 14) software version based on Android 13. For security, the K60 Ultra is also said to include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone may have a 5,000 or 5,500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
