Redmi tied up with the famous car company, the champion smartphone is shaking the market

Redmi is once again going to launch a sports car inspired smartphone in the market. The company has officially announced its collaboration with Lamborghini.

At the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia 2024 event held recently in Shanghai, China, Wang Teng Thomas, Deputy General Manager of China Marketing Department of Xiaomi and General Manager of the Redmi brand, announced Redmi's partnership with Lamborghini. Incidentally, Redmi has previously collaborated with Lamborghini on two notable devices. One is the Redmi K70 Pro Championship Edition and the other is the Redmi K70 Ultra Championship Edition.

New smartphone coming in Redmi-Lamborghini partnership

Wang Teng Thomas recently attended a Lamborghini Track Day event in Shanghai, where the Redmi logo was seen on a Lamborghini racing car for the first time. Meanwhile, Redmi confirmed on their Weibo (Chinese micro-blogging website) handle that there will be a new collaboration between Redmi and Lamborghini. The upcoming Redmi-Lamborghini partnership seems to be for the Redmi K80 series, which will debut in November this year.

According to reports, Redmi will launch the Redmi Note 14 series of smartphones in China by the end of May. Next October, the brand's parent company Xiaomi is expected to unveil the flagship Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro models powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. And in November, Redmi may launch three phones under its performance-focused K series – Redmi K80e, Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro.

Rumor has it that the Redmi K80 series of phones will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8400, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipsets respectively. The standard Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro have already appeared in China's radio certification database, indicating that they could indeed hit the market in November. According to recent reports, the Redmi K80 Pro model may be limited to the Chinese market only. And the Redmi K80e and Redmi K80 models are likely to be rebranded as Poco X7 Pro and Poco F7 Pro in the global market.
