Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Launches at the Global Market called Poco M8 Pro

Shaomi Sub-Brand Poco is soon to launch a new mid-range smartphone at the Global Market. It will be named POCO M8 Pro. And today a report states that this smartphone will be a rebanded version of Redmi Note 15 Pro+. Earlier, POCO has repeatedly rebraided the Redmi model and brought the new name to the market. But this time they have changed a bit of strategy. Let’s find out what information about the upcoming device has come out.

Redmi Note Pro+ has been launched in China

Recently, three models of the Redmi Note 3 series were launched in China. These are Redmi Note 15 5G, Note 15 Pro 5G and Note 15 Pro+ 5G. Naturally the pro+ model is the most premium model in the series. This device is about to bring Poko to the global market with their own brand. However, its battery and charging capacity will be different.

POCO M8 Pro’s battery and charging

Tipster Paperking13 has claimed in an X post that the Redmi Note 3 Pro Plus model in China is also with a 5 mAh battery and a 5 watt charging. The Poko M5 Pro phone will have a 5.5 mAh battery and 5 watt fast charging support. That is, the battery capability has been slightly reduced to the charging speed slightly. As a result, the phone will charge quickly.

Poco

As we have seen for so long, POCO used to rebrand the base model of Redmi’s latest series in their M-series and launches in the global market. For example, the POCO M7 Pro was the Redmi Note 14 model Rebrand. But this time the Shaomi sub-brand has directly chosen the Pro+ version, which is their new strategy.

Since the features other than battery and charging speed will be the same, the POCO M8 Pro smartphone will get a 5.5-inch micro-carved display, which will have resolution of 5K, touch sampling rate 5 hearts and refresh rates of 120 hearts. Qualcomm Snapdragon 5S Jane 4 chipset will be used for performance.

Photography will be available on the back of a 5 megapixel light fusion 1 primary lens with a triple rear camera setup. The other two cameras will be 1 megapixel telephoto lens and 5 megapixel ultra-wide lens. There will be a 12 megapixel front camera for selfie and video calling.
