Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and Note 15 Pro are coming to India now, see what features will be in the first part

Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ smartphones were launched in China a few months ago. Now the smartphone brand is reportedly gearing up to bring this series of phones to India. Both the devices are expected to be priced the same as their predecessors. However, these are expected to offer slightly different camera specifications compared to their Chinese versions. Let’s find out what information has surfaced about the upcoming Redmi Note 15 series in India.

Redmi Note 15 Series Launch Date and Price in India

SmartPrix has teamed up with tipster Yogesh Brar to leak the Redmi Note 15 series price, specifications and launch timeline in India. According to reports, the handsets will be launched in India in January next year. The series will reportedly go on sale in mid-January, along with the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Realme Note 15 Pro+ models. Besides, the expected price range and specifications of the Indian version of the phones have also been mentioned in the report.

According to reports, the price of the Redmi Note 15 series in India may be similar to the predecessor Redmi Note 14 series. Incidentally, the base variant of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage was launched in India in January this year, priced at Rs 22,400. On the other hand, the price of Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G phone 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage option is Tk 20,900.

Redmi Note 15 Series Specifications (Expected)

The Redmi Note 15 series debuted in China on August 21. Its Pro model is powered by the MediaTek Dimension 7400 Ultra chipset, while the Pro+ model has a Snapdragon 7S Gen 4 processor. However, the Indian version is expected to offer a slightly different camera configuration compared to the Chinese version.

In terms of cameras, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ handset is said to sport a “new” 200-megapixel primary camera on the back. On the other hand, the Note 15 Pro may have a 108-megapixel sensor. Both the phones are likely to feature the same chipset and display as the Chinese version.

In a nutshell, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and Redmi Note 15 Pro phones feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K (1,280×2,772 pixels) micro-curved display, which offers up to 120 Hz refresh rate, 480 Hz touch sampling rate and 3,200 nits peak brightness. Both the phones will get a maximum of 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage.

For photography, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ has a triple-rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor. On the other hand, the Pro model has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultrawide sensor. For selfies and video calling, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and Note 15 Pro devices have 32-megapixel and 20-megapixel front cameras respectively.

For power backup, both the Redmi Note 15 Pro series handsets are powered by a 7,000mAh battery, which supports 22.5W wired reverse charging. However, Redmi Note 15 Pro+ offers 90W wired fast charging and Note 15 Pro offers 45W wired fast charging speed.
