Redmi Note 13 Turbo: Redmi is launching a new surprise, turbo phone with Bahubali processor

Yesterday, Qualcomm officially launched their new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It is the under clocked version of the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Ever since the release of the processor, various smartphone brands have started announcing the inclusion of this new chipset in their upcoming phones. Motorola and iQOO have already confirmed that their upcoming Moto X50 Ultra and iQOO Z9 series will have it. And now Redmi has also announced the launch of a new smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor.

Redmi brings Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 smartphone

The Xiaomi-subsidiary brand is yet to reveal any details about its upcoming Snapdragon 8S Gen 3-powered model. But speculations surrounding it suggest that it could be the Redmi Note 13 Turbo. However, no detailed information about the smartphone is available at the moment.

Note that Redmi launched the Note 12 Turbo with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7Plus Gen 2 chipset in China in March last year. So it was initially thought that the Redmi Note 13 Turbo will come with the Snapdragon 7Plus Gen 3 chipset. But a recent report has changed this perception. Reports suggest that the Redmi Note 13 Turbo will indeed launch with the latest Snapdragon 8S Gen 3. And that announcement by Redmi coincides with new reports suggesting that the Redmi Note 13 Turbo will feature the new Snapdragon 8-series chip.

Incidentally, the Poco F5 was launched in the global market in May last year as a rebranded version of the China-exclusive Redmi Note 12 Turbo. So reports suggest that the Redmi Note 13 Turbo will be limited to the Chinese market just like its predecessor and will later be launched in the global market as the Poco F6.

Apart from the new Redmi phone, Xiaomi also announced that its next generation Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro smartphone will also use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. Although the Civi 4 Pro is said to be launched on March 21, it is not yet clear whether the new Redmi phone will make its debut on the same day.
