Xiaomi has finally launched the much anticipated Redmi K70 Ultra phone. It is the latest flagship phone from the company's budget sub-brand, offering top-notch specifications and features. The Redmi K70 Ultra comes with high-end specifications and a premium design. The back has a flat glass panel with curved edges. It has a large camera island, which houses three image sensors and an LED flash module. It will have a metal frame for a premium feel. The Redmi K70 Ultra model has an IP68 rated chassis for water and dust resistance. The phone measures 160.38 x 75.14 x 8.39 mm and weighs 211 grams.

The Redmi K70 Ultra is powered by MediaTek's flagship Dimension 9300 Plus chipset, which is based on a 4 nanometer process. Xiaomi has paired this chip with their own PengPai T1 signal enhancement chip. It promises a 12% increase in WiFi performance, a 20% improvement in GPS performance and a significant 58% increase in 5G WiFi signal strength.
The Redmi K70 offers a Surge P2 chipset for ultra fast charging, G1 for power management and a D1 chip, which acts as an independent display processor. For power backup, the phone comes with a massive 5,500mAh battery, which supports 120W fast charging. The Redmi K70 Ultra comes in multiple storage configurations – 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage variants.
For photography, the Redmi K70 Ultra houses three image sensors on the back of the phone and a selfie camera on the front. The triple rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. And the front of the phone has a 20-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. Other notable features of Redmi K70 Ultra include dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, NFC and HyperOS custom skin based on Android OS.
