The much-awaited Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone is expected to be launched this month at an event hosted by Xiaomi. Apart from the mentioned smartphone, Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 and Redmi Pad 2 are also known to launch some other new Xiaomi products at the event to be held in China. However, nothing has been officially announced by the company yet. Now the Redmi K60 Ultra phone has been listed on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus chip, indicating an imminent launch. Redmi K60 Ultra appears on Geekbench database
Redmi K60 Ultra with model number 23078RKD5C has appeared on Geekbench. It will be powered by a MediaTek processor codenamed Corot, with a prime core clock speed of 3.35 GHz. Three performance cores run at 3.0 GHz and the remaining four efficiency cores are clocked at 2.0 GHz. It is speculated that the device will likely use the MediaTek Dimension 9200 Plus processor.
The Geekbench database also revealed that the Redmi K60 Ultra will run on Android 13 operating system and offer 16GB of RAM. Also, in terms of benchmark results, the Redmi phone scored 1,288 points and 4,121 points respectively in Geekbench 6’s single-core and multi-core tests. This indicates that the device will hit the market very soon. But nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
Notably, several recent reports have mentioned that the Redmi K60 Ultra will sport a large 6.7-inch OLED display with an impressive (1.5K) resolution and 144Hz high refresh rate. It may come in 12/16GB RAM and 1TB/512GB storage options. Besides, the battery capacity of Redmi K60 Ultra could be between 5,000 mAh and 5,500 mAh. It is also said to support 120W fast charging technology. The phone is likely to be available in Slick Black and Vibrant Cyan color options.
