The most preferred brand in the budget segment Redmi has brought their new smartphone. The company launched Redmi 13 5G in India on the occasion of 10 years anniversary. It is the first smartphone launched in India with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE (Accelerated Edition) chipset. The Redmi 13 5G phone has a 108-megapixel primary camera with 3x in-sensor zoom support, along with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. It has a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

Redmi 13 5G has been launched in India in two variants. Its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration is priced at Rs 13,999 and the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 15,499. The smartphone will be available in Hawaiian Blue, Black Diamond and Orchid Pink colors.
The newly launched Redmi 13 5G will go on sale on July 12 at 12pm (noon) on e-commerce sites Amazon and mi.com. The phone comes with an instant bank discount of Rs 1,000 and an exchange discount of Rs 1,000.

Talking about the specifications of the Redmi 13 5G phone, it runs on Android 14 based HyperOS custom skin. It has a 6.79-inch Full HD Plus (1080×2400 pixels) IPS LCD display with 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The handset is powered by Qualcomm's 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM.
For photos and videos, the Redmi 13 5G phone features a 108-megapixel primary camera with Samsung ISOCELL HM1.75 sensor and f/1.75 aperture. According to the company, the primary camera has 3X in-sensor zoom. This phone also has a 2 megapixel macro camera. For video chats and selfies, it features a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, which sits within the hole-punch cutout of the display.
Redmi 13 5G phone will get 128 GB inbuilt storage. Connectivity options on the handset include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For power backup, it has a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The sensors of Redmi 13 5G include accelerometer, gyroscope, e-compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor.
