Realme is said to launch the new Realme 12+ 5G smartphone soon in China along with the global market. According to the report, the model number of the global variant of the phone is RMX3867. On the other hand, a phone with the model code RMX3866 was recently spotted on the TENAA and Chinese Compulsory Certification (3C) site. It is believed to be the Chinese version of the Realme 12+ 5G. And now the global model of the Realme 12+ 5G has been benchmarked by Geekbench. appeared on the platform, from which the chipset, RAM and Android version were revealed.

According to the Geekbench listing, the CPU and GPU details of the Realme 12+ 5G phone suggest that it might have a Dimension 7050 processor. The listing also reveals that the handset will have 12GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 OS. The Realme phone scored 958 points and 2,346 points in Geekbench 6’s single-core and multi-core tests respectively.
It is speculated that the Chinese variant of Realme 12+ 5G could be launched in China later this month along with Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus. On the other hand, the Pro models have already been launched in the global market. Hence, the 12 Plus is likely to be unveiled outside of China by March. The phone can be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.6GHz and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. In China, the device may come with a maximum of 16GB of RAM.
For photography, the Realme 12+ 5G is expected to feature a triple camera unit comprising of a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel secondary lens and a 2-megapixel sensor on the rear panel. And a 16 megapixel front camera will be located in front of the phone. For security, the Realme 12+ 5G may have an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
